Ameraucana chicken

As we prepare for our move to our home sweet homestead, I have been looking into chicken breeds. I am interested in the Ameraucana chicken as it lays beautiful blue eggs! Additionally (and hey perhaps more practically! ) this chicken tolerated cold Canadian weather.
